International Bible Center

IBC is dedicated to the cause of world revival. Its teachers are Spirit-filled; its curriculum is Christ-centered; its vision global. IBC stands for the restoration of power to the Church in these last days. President David W. Cook is continuing the conviction to “spread the gospel” throughout the world by training others.

People from around the world have gained Bible knowledge, spiritual equipment and practical training at IBC. Graduates have opened churches in new fields, served as pastors and evangelists or have worked in various phases of Christian service. More than 120 have served in foreign mission fields.

Global Network Ministries Institute (GNMI) & Oral Roberts University Present

GNMI Bible Institute Diploma/Certificate Program

1.  For churches served by minister-members of the Global Network of Christian Ministries (GNCM), the Global Network Ministries Institute (GNMI) is administering the ORU Bible Institute Diploma/Certificate Program to complement the educational ministries of local churches to equip believers for ministry.

2.  The Bible Institute Diploma/Certificate program is designed for Christians who desire training beyond the Sunday school level in Biblical Studies, Theology, and Practical Ministries. (Courses correspond to upper-level junior college.) Churches may also use the program to help train persons aspiring to servant-leadership in the local church by requiring completion of a diploma or certificate program as part of their candidacy.

3.  Through the Institute program, your local church links arms with the GNMI & ORU’s School of LifeLong Education to offer the . . .

  • Advanced Certificate of Theology (33 credit hours).
  • Diploma of Theological Studies (66 credit hours).
  • 19-credit Certificates for Christian Workers, Christian Education, Christian Caregiving, Biblical Studies, General Theological Studies, and Christian Mission.

4.  Students completing the program will receive a joint Certificate or Diploma from the GNMI, ORU, and your local-church Institute.

5.  Certificate and Diploma programs are conducted at your church with academic and administrative support from the GNMI/ORU. The local church owns and controls its Bible Institute.

6.  GNMI administers a core curriculum developed by ORU Schools of LifeLong Education and Theology & Missions. It includes course outlines, materials, and lecture notes for more than 50 courses prepared by ORU faculty and other qualified professionals, including GNCM ministers.

7.  The local church provides instructors to teach Certificate and Diploma courses.Other GNCM/ORU teachers are available to teach courses and/or seminars at local Institutes.

8.  Coursework can receive advanced standing in ORU’s undergraduate degree programs.
